DETAILED CONSTRUCTION PROCEDURE AND TOOLS USED

1.Subfloor preparation

Tool-Grinder

Various tools including grinders, sanders, and shot blasting machines are used on different floor types to remove surface layers, roughen (scarify), and clean the substrate, thereby enhancing its adhesion.

Tool-vacuum cleaner

Remove the dust produced during floor sanding with a vacuum cleaner to prevent compromising the adhesive properties of the primer.

Tool-paint roller

Roller‑applied primer reduces substrate absorbency, preventing rapid water loss in the self‑leveling compound during application, and increases synthetic latex at the interface to boost mortar bonding.

Tool-handheld mixer & notched trowel

Mix the self‑leveling compound with a mixer and apply it with a trowel. If the floor flatness already meets the specification, self‑leveling is not required.

Tool-Spiked Roller & Spiked Shoes

Workers wearing spiked shoes roll a spiked roller over the self‑leveling compound to remove air bubbles, thereby ensuring its stability and reducing the risk of hollowing and cracking in the later stage.

Tool-Sander & Vacuum cleaner

Once the self‑leveling compound is dry, grind the surface with a floor sander, then thoroughly vacuum the floor to prepare it for the subsequent adhesive spreading.
